FAQs

What happens if no one shows up for the appointment?

This is frustrating and we apologize. Appointment times are target times and may be contingent on prior appointment going longer than anticipated. You should notify RDU Contractors by phone 919 234 7198 or by email at admin@rducontractors.com and we will check our network of contractors to see if we can get another qualified technician to complete your task within the next 2 hours. If no one is available you may reschedule with a $25 discount or simply cancel the service and you will not be charged for the task.

What if the work is not satisfactory?

Submit an email to admin@rducontractors.com and reschedule your task. The technician will address and rectify your concern. If the technician is unable to rectify, RDU Contractors mediation team will work to come to a reasonable solution. Should parties involved not come to a comprehensive solution RDU Contractors will assist in reaching out to the technician’s liability insurance provider to begin the claim process.

How do I know the technician is qualified?

Each technician submits a survey to determine competency. BBB check is performed, references are submitted and verified. A criminal background check is done to ensure no theft, violent or sexual crime has been committed by technician. In addition there are arbitrary site visits by a NC Licensed General Contractor to maintain standards and accountability.

What if the technician damages something while at my home, are they insured?

Each technician is to have liability insurance and workman’s compensation as applicable by NC State Law. RDU Contractors will assist with preliminary mediation and resolution. Should parties involved not reach a consensus, RDU Contractors will assist in reaching out to the technician’s insurance provider and homeowner in order to start a claim.

Why do I put my Credit Card information in before the task is completed?
You enter your credit card information in to secure means of payment when the task is completed, and acknowledgement that you understand the amount due when completed.
